Rose co-founded The Little Bit Foundation in 2001 after a teacher friend asked for help in providing coats to her students in an inner city school. Since then, it has impacted 36,000 students in the St. Louis area. Rose has a Bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education from Loyola University.
Chief Operating Officer
Tom has over 35 years experience developing and implementing strategies to provide company-wide best practices and innovative processes. He spent 30 years at Anheuser-Busch in senior management roles overseeing procurement, planning, finance and administration. Tom holds a Bachelor’s in Finance and an MBA from Saint Louis University.
Director of Grant Management
Amy has been involved with The Little Bit Foundation since 2007, currently responsible for writing proposals and grants for major funding. She has more than 25 years experience in nonprofit development and fundraising and a BA in Psychology from the University of Dayton.
Alex has a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Saint Louis University and a Master’s in Social Work from Washington University, with experience counseling both domestic violence offenders and victims. She first became involved with Little Bit in 2013 when she joined the Young Professionals Board.
Director of Distribution
Tim has more than a decade of experience in warehouse and operations management, serving as warehouse manager for HDA Merchandising and most currently as co-owner/operator of Straw Hat Aquaponics. Tim holds a Bachelor’s degree in Logistics and Operations Management, with a minor in IT from UMSL.
Lucy worked as a Little Bit volunteer for seven years before assuming the role of Volunteer Manager in July 2013. A former Human Resource associate for Lord & Taylor, she knew she wanted to get involved with an organization that helped children when her store closed in 2006.
Erin says she was “hooked” from the moment she walked in the door and is dedicated to seeing that everyone in St. Louis knows about Little Bit. Previously, she served as Marketing Associate for The Center for Head Injury Services in St. Louis and Special Events Associate for United 4 Children.
Ashley has a Bachelor’s of Social Work from Skidmore College and a Master’s of Social Work from Washington University. Her experience and passion lie in partnering with the education system and ensuring students have opportunities for equity and success.
LaKricia has more than 10 years professional experience in program management, volunteer leadership and community outreach for nonprofit organizations, including the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society and the Lupus Foundation. LaKricia earned a Bachelor’s in Legal Studies and a Master’s in International Relations from Webster University.
Donor Relations Manager
Linda has over 25 years experience in higher education and a passion for ensuring students have what they need to be successful. The first time she visited a Little Bit school, she knew she had to be involved and tell the Little Bit story to the St. Louis community! Linda holds a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology and is working towards her Master’s in Nonprofit Management at Washington University.
Data and Projects Manager
James served for a year as Little Bit’s AmeriCorps Literacy VISTA before joining the staff full-time. James holds a Bachelor’s Degree in English from Truman State University.
Annie brings experience in nonprofit special events and communications, interning for both Cardinal Glennon Children’s Foundation and Mercy Health Foundation and most recently working for Rung, a nonprofit supporting local women’s and children’s charities. Annie holds a Bachelor’s in Communications Studies from Saint Louis University.
Ellyn brings nonprofit experience from The Mission Continues, Renew Missouri and Legal Services of Eastern Missouri. After graduating law school and falling in love with Little Bit’s mission, she decided to put her education and experience to good use for an amazing cause! Ellyn holds a degree in History from Santa Clara University and a J.D. from the University of Missouri School of Law.
Development Strategy Facilitator
Betsy has more than 30 years experience in team building, group facilitation, marketing and strategic planning for major corporations. She volunteered her creative gifts for Little Bit, developing our first High School Ambassadors Program, before accepting a full-time position. Betsy is a graduate of Scripps College with a BA in American Studies.
Adrian brings nearly two decades expertise with inventory systems. After active duty in the Air Force, he worked as a General and District Manager for the Restaurant and Hospitality Industry.
Maura holds a degree in Educational Studies with an emphasis in Human Services from UMSL. She completed her practicum as a volunteer engagement and service learning intern at Kingdom House and has previously worked with St. Louis Arc, City Academy and Crisis Nursery.
Health and Wellness Manager
Mike’s professional life has been dedicated to helping kids achieve both inside and outside of the classroom and includes working as a teacher, mentor, in foster care and as a community support specialist for a mental health center. He discovered Little Bit after witnessing the impact of the Books & Buddies program on his students. Mike holds a Master’s in Counseling from Missouri Baptist University.
Jamey says her passion for children brought her to Little Bit. Holding a degree in Education from Vanderbilt University, she has worked as a preschool teacher, full-time mom and parent educator for the Parents as Teachers program.
Dana has more than a decade of experience in project management for the pharmaceutical industry and also spent time as grants manager for Autism Speaks. Dana was excited to become Program Coordinator after volunteering for Little Bit for two years. She earned a BS in Biotechnology from Drexel University and a Master of Public Health from Benedictine University.
