If you or your organization have access to resources that you feel would be valuable to The Little Bit Foundation, please contact Rosemary Hanley. Every “little bit” helps!
New items that meet each child’s most basic needs are integral to his/her success and confidence. The supplies allow each student to transform into confident, enthusiastic classroom participants, free from worry and anxiety. The tools for success that each child can receive through The Little Bit Foundation include the below categories.
Educational Resources
- Fully-stocked backpacks; based on grade level
- Books ‘n Buddies – books packaged with a stuffed animal, to be used as a reading incentive in each classroom
- Book Fairs – Two or three times a year, each student can choose book(s) to take home.
- Resource Books – Teachers receive donated resource books for classroom use.
Clothing
- Regular and school uniforms, where applicable
- Undergarments
- Socks and shoes
- Coats, hats, gloves
Hygiene
- Kits include soap, shampoo, lotion and wash cloth
- Family kits include larger sizes of the above items, distributed by the school
- Dental hygiene kits include toothbrush and toothpaste
