Thank You NoteThe Little Bit Foundation is much more than just the new items that are collected from our partners, purchased through donations, and delivered each week. Dignity and pride are included in every order filled. Each child is given personal attention by a TLBF rep to make sure each new item fits and that the student’s needs have been met beyond all expectations. This comfortable atmosphere of mutual trust and respect is designed to meet each child’s emotional as well as material need. Please read Maxwell’s letter to the right and the letter from his principal below and see what a huge difference a “little bit” makes to transform the life of a child.s

Dear Little Bit,

Maxwell received many donations from The Little Bit Foundation. These donations have had a positive impact on Maxwell. The day he received a backpack and school supplies, he happily showed his classmates his gifts. The papers, pencils and crayons made him eager to do his class work. He was able to use his backpack to transport materials from home to school. The next day you could see a glow of confidence that screamed "I'm ready for school"! From that day forward Maxwell tried to complete every assignment, even though they may have been challenging for him.

When Maxwell received clothes, shoes and a jacket he was overwhelmed. He was so grateful that someone that didn't know him thought to buy him things that he really needed. After Maxwell accepted these items, there was a noticeable improvement in his behavior. Maxwell was able to make friends, because he no longer felt inferior. He was so delighted that he immediately wrote a letter with a friend to say "thank you" to The LIttle Bit Foundation.

Your acts of kindness gave this little boy a sense of pride, respect and belonging.

Thank You,
Deirdre Jackson, Principal
